EDIT 9/17/2015: Please only reference these installation instructions if you are using the Rane TTM-56/57 installation kit with the original Innofader. As of October 2010, the Rane TTM-56/57 installation kit is obsolete and all of the parts you need for this installation are now included in the Innofader Pro.
For Innofader Pro calibration, please see the following links:

For the original Innofader, Install into the Rane TTM56/57 as follows:
1) First locate all of the items needed:
Innofader body
Set the cut-in to no dead space and the curve to factory default B type
The no dead space setting will make it much easier to adjust the Rane Adapter PC board.

knob (added height)
4 screws (2 shown in the picture)
Adapter plate
Adapter PC board
2) With the power off, remove the original fader
3) Connect the Innofader to the adapter plate and hook up the adapter PC board to the Innofader and the mixer cable. Make sure the Innofader is set to Factory Default B type for the curve, and no dead space for the cut-in.
4) Start with both trim pots in the 12:00 position on the Rane TTM-56/57 Adapter PC Board. With the power on, mixer curve set to the sharpest, and fader direction normal, adjust the right trim pot until you get the desired cut-off point on the right side of the fader.
NOTE: The adjustment most likely is in the 10:30 to 1:30 range. It will be much easier to do the calibration if you make gradual adjustments within this range.
Use a sound source for your testing on the left channel and follow the below instructions. This way you can test the cutout on both sides of the fader by switching between normal and hamster mode.
5) Switch the direction of the fader
6) Adjust the left trim pot until you get the desired cut-off point on the left side of the fader.
NOTE: The adjustment most likely is in the 10:30 to 1:30 range. It will be much easier to do the calibration if you make gradual adjustments within this range.
7) Turn off the reverse function. NOTE: you may want to redo steps 4-7 to fine tune the cutoff points on both sides of the fader. Once you are sure the calibration is good, turn off the power and go to step 8.
8) Wrap the entire adapter PC Board with electrical tape.
9) Also wrap the Innofader connector with electrical tape.
10) Place the Innofader in the slot and lift it up by the stem. Tighten one side of the fader while holding up the fader by the stem.
11) Tighten the other side of the fader while holding up the fader by the stem.
12) Reinstall the faceplate and place the cap on the fader.
